Derby City Mission
Derby City Mission exists to serve the city of Derby in Social Action and Christian Mission. We are good news to those who need it most; so we help those caught in debt at our Jubilee clinics and reach out to the homeless, drug addicts, street drinkers and refugees through our Recovery drop in and Night Shelter projects.
Derby City Vision
Derby City Vision consists of a group of churches and leaders in Derby who work together and co-operate on different initiatives out of relationship with one another. They organise things like leaders prayer meetings, Alpha launches, retreat days and leaders lunches.
New Wine is a network of churches working together to change the nation through a network of church leaders, National Gatherings, training events and resources.
In 2010 a new vision statement and set of core values were developed, as well as a new strapline to accompany the logo, which communicate the heart of New Wine, and serve as an invitation to be part of the great movement of God to change the nations.
The EA is the largest and oldest body representing the UK’s two million evangelical Christians. For more than 165 years, they have been bringing Christians together and helping them listen to, and be heard by, the government, media and society.
From Skye to Southampton, from Coleraine to Cardiff, they work across 81 denominations, 4,000 churches, 600 organisations and thousands of individual members. Unity is what drives them – but not just for unity’s sake. By bringing people together, they are following the John 17 mandate to show the immense love of God, who sent His Son for us
Methodist Church (Derby Circuit)
Within Methodism, churches are organised into groups, with Ministers and Preachers working as a team within the group of churches. The name ‘Circuit’ goes back to the roots of Methodism 250 years ago.
We are located in the East Midlands (UK). Back in September 2009, we merged three circuits together to form the Derby Circuit.
